Marine Corp League Indian River Detachment 058 participates in a number of programs to help the local community including:

Marine Corps Birthday Ball – is celebrated every year on 10 November with a traditional ball and cake-cutting ceremony. On that day in 1775, the Continental Marines were established.

Toys for Tots – Distributes toys to children whose parents cannot afford to buy them gifts for Christmas.

Eagle Scout Good Citizens Award – Presents awards to Boy Scouts who achieve the highest rank as part of their Honor Ceremony.

Color Guard – Provide Color Guards and Honor Guards at events and special occasions.
